Problem 1: OK, so you want to transcribe medical transcription and save your files as ASCII text. But, you notice that when you want to open the files later to print them, you have to manually reset the font and font size you transcribed them in so that the page breaks line up correctly. What a pain!
Problem 2: You want to batch print hundreds of ASCII report files at once without having to open each one up and print them one at a time.
Problem 3: You want to remotely deliver ASCII report files to a client and have them print them. You want an easy-to-use utility that requires little or no training to use.
ASCII report printer is a custom designed program that automates the processing and printing of your reports. Without the ASCII report printer, you would have to manually load each report file into a word processor, format the report and then print it. The ASCII report printer totally automates this process.
The ASCII report printer is designed to be used with ASCII text files (Windows ANSI text files work fine too) and is provided to you courtesy of the Association for the Sensible Method of Acquiring Rates for Transcription (ASMART).
Using the ASCII report printer is simple. Report files are automatically sorted into any number of user-definable categories so all files need not be printed all at once. The printing process automatically launches a built in ASCII text printer. When the files are finished printing, they are automatically archived. During the printing process, the following can be automatically done:
Full source code for the ASCII report printer program will be posted here soon.
